About Matt Heikkila
Matt has been a hobby photographer for 23 years since he won an immediately outdated film camera at his high school graduation party. Since then he’s mostly photographed wildlife he’s seen, and captive exotic and domestic animals he’s worked with.

His most widely circulated photo is this photo of an underwater pumpkin. What does that have to do with pet photography? Not much, but it’s cool so here it is.
Meet Joey
Joey has more experience taking portrait photos of humans, and when we hired him as a walker, and he showed me his portfolio I knew it was time to kick off our pet photography.

He’s been raising Guide Dog puppies for years, and his skills with dogs rival his skills with the camera. Check out a few of his photos, and then let’s schedule a photo session!
